A leveling jack is a tool designed to raise the dock to a desired height by locking it to the vertical pipe for support. One end is comprised of a hook used to grab the underside of the dock’s steel framework, while the other consists of a piece of pipe. To use the leveling jack, you place the hook portion so that it is locked against the underside section of the dock. Then, removing some of your weight from the dock, you must press down onto the pipe end of the jack. This will place vertical force on the hook, causing the dock to rise.
